Founded in 2024
With a background in sustainable practices, South Bend native Tyler Kanczuzewski founded reGen in 2024. The vision was to bring more nature-based solutions to area building and property development, as well as organizational innovation.
Tyler worked in solar energy for 15 years at Inovateus Solar, understanding the intersection of economic innovation, climate resilience, and community development. In 2019, he created the sustainability department at Inovateus, focused on agrivoltaics and zero waste job sites. Inovateus created a sustainable best-practices playbook, focused on lowering the environmental footprint of the company and the life cycle of a solar project. Since 2018, Tyler has also helped Logistick, Inc. create a sustainability culture, reduce its carbon footprint and grow closed-loop recycling programs. Tyler is passionate about making a positive impact on those around him, and to help the world think more about stewardship and sustainability, especially when it comes to circular economy methods, renewable energy, and environmental conservation. He currently lives in an eco-friendly and solar powered tiny house in the forward-thinking Near Northwest Neighborhood of South Bend, IN, along with his two cats Walker and Harley. Ask him about his book he just published, Reinvent Your Waste.
