Land Acknowledgement
We acknowledge we exist and operate on the traditional land of the Potawatomi (Pokagon Band), Peoria, Miami, and Kickapoo peoples, who have cared for this region for generations.
As a regenerative-focused business rooted in the heart of South Bend, we recognize the deep, reciprocal relationship Indigenous communities have with the land—and we strive to honor that legacy and spirit.
Our commitment to environmental stewardship is inspired by those who came before us. Through our work, we do our best to care for the land, respect its resources, and share that knowledge with future generations.
This acknowledgement is a small step toward recognizing the truth of this place and our shared responsibility to protect and nourish it forever. 🌿🌾
The Bioregion
Northern Indiana (South Bend Area) and Southern Michigan region has a vibrant natural history. Carved by glaciers, leaving behind outwash plains, rare wetlands, kettle lakes, Lake Michigan and changing the great St. Joseph and Kankakee Rivers. The flora and fauna was once abundant, but what remains deserves protection and education for future generations!
